Our team is pleased to share that we will be supporting the training of five apprentices who are undergoing their respective 4-year training at the Solomon Islands National University (SINU). Their training program is sponsored by the Solomon Islands Government, and regulated by the Ministry of Commerce, Industries, Labour, and Immigration (MCILI).
We signed the five contracts with the National Trade, Training, Testing and Certification Unit (NTTTU) of the Labour Department (within MCILI), yesterday, August 19th.
Throughout the duration of their 4-year program with SINU, the apprentices will be undergoing 6 months of practical work each year. This support is part of our commitment to build the internship program opportunities we offer - ensuring our young people can gain valuable, hands-on experience in their respective fields.
We look forward to equipping these apprentices with high quality skills that not only meet our labour market standards, but also help to raise it even further upon completing their training.
