This project is a demonstration of the power of collaboration – between Governments, development partners, communities & local business.

During the signing ceremony, our managing director Jay Bartlett stated:

“The Seghe Market Project is not just about constructing a building; it’s about creating opportunities. Markets hold a special place in our culture and community.  They are the heartbeat of our communities, where people come together to trade, share, stori, and connect.

For the women, men, youth and children who rely on these spaces for their livelihoods, this project will provide a safer, more accessible, and more modern facility that reflects the importance of their hard work.”

The ceremony which took place at the Australian High Commission in Honiara, was also attended by Australian High Commissioner Rod Hilton, Deputy High Commissioner Andrew Schloeffel, Minister for Infrastructure and Development Hon. Manasseh Maelanga, Member for Marovo, Hon. Chachabule Amoi MP & Premier of Western Province Hon. Billy Veo.
