Job Description:
We are seeking a highly motivated and talented Health, Safety & Security Manger to join our team. The Health, Safety & Security Manager role is critical to our operations as it involves ensuring the health, safety, and security of our employees, contractors, and assets across all our construction sites and offices.

Job Description:
Health and Safety Management:

  • Develop and implement health and safety policies, procedures, and programs in compliance with local regulations and industry best practices.
  • Conduct regular site inspections and audits to identify potential hazards and ensure adherence to safety protocols.
  • Provide training and awareness programs to employees and subcontractors on health and safety practices.
  • Investigate and report accidents, incidents, and near misses, and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
  • Collaborate with project managers and supervisors to promote a culture of safety and implement safe work practices.

Security Management:

  • Develop and maintain a comprehensive security management system to safeguard company assets, employees, offices, and construction sites.
  • Conduct risk assessments and security audits to identify vulnerabilities and implement appropriate security measures.
  • Establish and maintain relationships with local law enforcement agencies and private security firms to ensure a prompt response to security incidents.
  • Develop emergency response plans and coordinate drills to prepare employees for potential emergencies or crises.
  • Implement and monitor access control systems, CCTV, and other security technologies as necessary.

Competencies:

  • Bachelor’s degree in occupational health and safety, industrial engineering, or a related field. Relevant work experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
  • Professional certifications in health and safety management are highly desirable.
  • Proven experience (minimum 5 years) in health, safety, and security management, preferably in the construction industry.
  • Strong knowledge of local health and safety regulations and standards.
  • Familiarity with security management principles and best practices.
  • Excellent understanding of risk assessment methodologies and incident investigation techniques.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to influence and engage stakeholders at all levels.
  • Ability to develop and deliver effective training programs on health, safety, and security topics.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to identify risks, propose solutions, and drive continuous improvement.
  • Proficiency in using health and safety management software and tools.
  • Ability to work independently, manage priorities, and handle multiple projects simultaneously.
