Hatanga Leadership Training

Hatanga’s senior management during the training.

Over 20 members of our senior management team successfully completed a two-day Leadership Training last week, focused on strengthening leadership capacity across the organisation.

The training provided a valuable opportunity for participants to intentionally reflect on their individual leadership journeys while also exploring how leadership is expressed and developed within the wider team. Through a series of interactive discussions and exercises, the workshop encouraged participants to share experiences, align perspectives, and consider how leadership can continue evolving within the organisation.

The workshop was facilitated by Gary Blair of Peopleconnexion, whose experience and insights provided practical guidance on effective leadership and organisational growth. His sessions focused on strengthening leadership awareness, fostering collaboration, and exploring how Hatanga can continue contributing to sustainable development in Solomon Islands and the region.

Beyond the formal sessions, the workshop created space for open dialogue and shared learning among colleagues, reinforcing the importance of teamwork, having a high trust environment, and a common vision.

The team looks forward to building on the lessons from the training and applying this collective knowledge as the company continues to grow and deliver meaningful outcomes.
