Enhancing Women's Participation

August visit to our SINPF Project Site. Image: Hatanga Media

The Construction and Infrastructure Industry has long been male dominated. At Hatanga, we relate to this and we understand the challenges that our female cohort face. To help break some of these barriers we have been working hard to increase female intake for various roles, and we are taking active steps to ensure they feel as much part of it all as they should.

This August 2025, as part of our efforts to strengthen women’s participation, our ladies from the head office spent some time out on site. This visit was an opportunity to see first-hand the progress being made and to connect the work happening on site with the important back end administration matters that many of them lead.

By appreciating the efforts of our project teams on the ground, our head office staff can also see the value of their own roles in ensuring smooth delivery and successful outcomes. Every role matters – whether on site or in office, it is all of us, building tomorrow, together.
