We are so pleased to congratulate our Finance Manager, Rachel Ramoifulia on successfully completing the Solomon Islands Senior Executive Women in Leadership Program.

This 4-day training took place in Honiara on July 14th and was aimed at empowering women in senior business roles in the country. As well as strengthening their business operation knowledge, it was a way of broadening the network with other senior women in various executive positions. The course covered several key areas including, identifying and building potential external and internal support networks; conceptualising and managing risk; understanding financial reports and accounts; and developing a career personal action plan.

The course was organised in partnership with the Solomon Islands Chamber of Commerce and Industry (SICCI), the Solomon Islands Women in Business Association (SIWIBA), and the Institute of Solomon Islands Accountants (ISIA), with support from the Pacific Private Sector Development Initiative (PSDI).

Hatanga is privileged to have very talented women who are ensuring our everyday operations are functional and it is our priority to further develop their capacity through such vital training opportunities.

Thank you Rachel for being part of this, even whilst continuing to perform your work duties.

Fabulous effort indeed!
